This is a poster I did for an Asian film festival that took place on the UW Tacoma Campus. This project had a tight deadline, no photographs, and a lot of text. I was pushed to explore ways of communicating with my audience. My main focus was how to organize the text in a way that is engaging but also not too crazy or busy. Using the already established diversity center colors, I divided the information up by creating fields of color that dictated where the text would sit. To avoid being predictable, I didn't stretch the color fields across the entire page, resulting in various sized boxes that housed other information.
